Project HealBox delivers First Aid Kits to schools in need, sufficient for a school for one year. We also provide first aid manual to teachers and in some cases train them real time on how to do first aid for students.

Aims:

Protect Children: A HealBox in a school can be the first line of defense in medical care to save young lives and minimize the after effects of diseases.

Preclude Conditions from Worsening: A HealBox can help stop conditions from worsening in an environment where help is miles away.

Promote Recovery:A HealBox includes promotion articles like first aid manual for teachers and real time training on recovery from minor illness to injury.

Timing:

Every year we campaign from April to September to collect funds for as many HealBoxes as possible and start delivering them from June to September. Our Campaign ends on World First-Aid Day on Sep12 every year for that financial year.

Delivery:

We deliver some of the HealBoxes in person and the rest we send them through courier. We do collect all acknowledgements received from schools and post them online.

Financials:

All sponsor details are maintained online with sponsor names, school selected and delivery details like time, location and number of HealBoxes delivered.

Our HealBox has the following provision of first-aid items
1. A Booklet giving general advice on how to do first aid for kids.
2. Sterile Bandages, Tapes and Minor Wounds
3. Adhesive Wound Dressing, Wound Cleaning Solution, Antiseptic and Cotton Rolls
4. Antiseptic Lotion and Pain killer spray
5. Thermometer and Fever Tablets
6. Vomiting and Diarrhea Tablets
7. Cold, Cough and Allergy Tablets
8. Pain killers, muscle relaxants
9. Hand towel, Notebook, Pen and a pair of scissors
10. Easy to carry container

Targets:

We will primarily focus on schools run by govt or schools who do not have financial resources to buy medical kits. Our target is to deliver One million HealBoxes to schools across India in the next three years.
